Piattaforma Life sull’azione per il clima nelle aree urbane

Meeting in Barcelona on 21st and 22nd June 2017. Participation in the Life Primes project

Bologna, 29 June 2017 – A meeting of the Life platform on climate action in urban areas was held in Barcelona on Wednesday 21 and Thursday 22 June. The two-day event brought together Life project beneficiaries, competent authorities and other stakeholders from across Europe to discuss specific actions to mitigate and adapt to climate change.

The meeting was structured in such a way as to allow participants to have an in-depth knowledge of the role of climate action in urban areas in a European and international context. Intense working group sessions dedicated to case studies allowed the presentation and exchange of good practices in specific areas.

In particular, the Life Primes project participated in the working group: “Innovative climate action technologies”. They presented the Valeria Pancioli project of the Regional Agency for Territorial Security and Civil Protection and Carlo Cacciamani of Arpae Simc (Idro Meteo Clima Service).

The event was hosted by the Provincial Council of Barcelona, ​​beneficiary of the Life Clinomics project, organized in cooperation with the Executive Agency for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (EASME) and the DG for Climate Action (CLIMA DG) of the European Commission.
