On line the ultimate newsletter of Life Primes

Focus on experiences in Abruzzo and the Final Conference in Casalecchio di Reno

The special dedicated to the course of participation and information in Abruzzo, and the Final Conference of the project, last November 16, in Casalecchio di Reno (BO), closed the first cycle of newsletters dedicated to the start and experimentation of Life Primes in Municipalities of the three regions involved: Emilia-Romagna, Marche and Abruzzo.
A long story, started with the objectives and the expected results, which in the following months has served to deepen the most important initiatives on the territory giving voice to its protagonists (citizens, administrators, officials).
The Newsletter N. 5 opens with an editorial by Antonio Jovino, head of the functional centre of the Abruzzo region, entitled “Working together to create an informed and aware population”, followed by a speech by Francesca Molinari, Civil protection in Abruzzo, on the final event of the project in Torino di Sangro, on 24 October last, and on the synthesis of the activities that have involved the territories in several occasions with exercises, workshops and theatrical representations. The interviews space hosts the opinions of Robert Verrocchio, mayor of Pineto, Nino di Fonso, mayor of Torino di Sangro and Silvana Priori, former mayor of Torino di Sangro.
The Newsletter completes the articles on the participation of the project at the RemTech exhibition in Ferrara, at the European researchers ‘ night in Ancona and at the conference held at the European Commission offices in Brussels.
The Final Conference of Life Primes on November 16 is at the heart of Newsletter No. 6. A special day, to tell the three years of project to citizens and administrators and lay the foundations for a more effective dissemination of the project.
The number, opened by an editorial by Monica Guida, of the Directorate General for the Territory and the environment of the Emilia-Romagna region, “Life Primes, a winning project in flood risk management”, has also been enriched by the presentation of Results of Civic adaptation plans (CAAP); Of the success of the performances of the show “La Margherita di Adele 2.0” in some schools in Bologna; and the participation of Primes in the forum Informed Cities in Vienna and the Forum on Disaster Risk Reduction in Rome.
