The Life Primes newsletter with the special Marche is on line

And other news on the networking conference, Bonn and Life Franca

Bologna, 23rd July 2018. The editorial of David Piccinini, head of the regional civil protection service, opens the fourth issue of the Life Primes newsletter, dedicated largely to the initiatives carried out in the Marche Region, with a great protagonist: the school.
Silvia Rossi explains this in telling the steps that have led to the involvement of pupils, teachers, managers, auxiliary staff, security managers, parents and relatives in a complex work, on knowledge of risk, preparation and self-protection, which it has manifested itself in numerous initiatives. Two exercises for floods of the rivers, on 18 and 19 May, carried out simultaneously in the schools of Senigallia and San Benedetto del Tronto, started after the warning alert from the Multirisk Center for Regional Civil Protection.
The Life Primes work in the Marche region has also benefited from the support of local administrators who believed in the project by encouraging citizen participation and interest in CAAP (Civic Adaptation Plans); as of June, more than 1770 have been completed.
The points of view of local councilors and directors from the Marche region on the experiences made in terms of resilience linked to the project are also published on the newsletter; and the results of a study conducted by the Polytechnic University of the Marche on the analysis of flood risk perception.
The latest issue of the NL continues with a summary of the Conference “Innovation in flood risk management: good governance, participation and communication practices” held last 18 June in Bologna, organized by the Emilia-Romagna Region in the context of Action F.2 Networking of the Life Primes project and continues with two focuses on participation in Bonn, the ninth world forum on Resilient City from 26 to 28 April, and in Trento, from 18 to 20 April at the first Conference of the project LIFE FRANCA (www.lifefranca.eu).
